In my packaging design class, I was tasked with creating a subscription box. I chose to create one for small pets, like hamsters, mice, and rabbits, because I felt pet stores often have a limited selection of items for them. All the items were purchased, then repackaged by myself. My first item is an edible timothy hay ball, which is designed to improve the dental health of rodents and rabbits. I hand-painted the three pets printed on the packaging. The second item is a pack of pet-safe cleaning wipes that owners could use on pet cages or play surfaces. I thought it made more sense that a broader pet brand would create pet wipes that any sort of pet owner could use, rather than wipes specific to small animals, so I made the branding suit a hypothetical pet company that catered to all pets. This is why the logo includes a bone and the word "ruff." My third item is a pack of animal-shaped pet treats made to resemble a pet carrier. The packing material is edible timothy hay.
